Important Update: PRINTING United Expo 2021 Cancelled

As we’ve previously announced, we were so very excited to take part in this year’s PRINTING United Expo in person, especially after last year’s virtual event. But health and safety outweigh business concerns and so due to both uncertainties and spikes resulting from the COVID-19 Delta variant, the event sponsors regrettably were forced to cancel the 2021 show.

PRINTING United is dedicated to providing a tradeshow of a certain standard and acknowledges that in light of current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and its undeniable effect on registration and exhibitor participation, they just aren’t able to provide an event that would live up to what’s been promised. The sponsors know––just as we do here at Capital Mailing Equipment––that showcasing equipment is a primary driver of this trade show. So it’s with a heavy heart that we are letting our customers know that we won’t be able to see you in Orlando this October. PRINTING United did not make this decision lightly, and we respect the priority that they’ve put on exhibitors’ and attendees’ health, welfare, and overall success.

All that said, we’re also right there with the event organizers in being more excited than ever for the 2022 show! Right now, it feels like an awful long time coming, especially because this year’s show is not being postponed or broadcast virtually. But time passes quickly and before we know it we will be in Las Vegas for the October 19-21, 2022 expo––we hope you’ll consider joining us there too! If you have already registered for this year’s expo, the event organizers assure that they will be refunding those expenses in the coming weeks and kindly ask for patience as they process countless transactions.

While this is an overall sad announcement, we can’t help but admire PRINTING United’s commitment to providing best-in-class events. They simply will not compromise the quality or the experience and will execute nothing short of an exemplary event for vendors and attendees alike. And even though a show won’t take place this year, they will still be providing valuable resources to continue to support the printing industry. So despite any understandable disappointment, we are happy to support their decision and their enthusiasm for next year’s show.
